Fulham send cheeky message to Leeds after Harry Wilson transfer | OneFootball

Harry Wilson has completed a free transfer to Leeds United from Fulham, with his former club playfully wishing him luck in every game but their own.

The club said in a statement that Wilson left on the expiry of his contract and departs with 82 goal involvements in 187 appearances, adding that many of his strikes were spectacular. It also praised his character and wished him the best at Leeds, aside from those two fixtures each season.

The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal and will join Daniel Farke’s squad for pre-season. His move, confirmed on Wednesday, comes 10 months after a failed deadline-day bid, with the announcement following a pre-arranged training camp in Portugal.

Wilson spent five years at Craven Cottage, scoring 36 goals and providing 46 assists in 187 matches. Last season he claimed Fulham’s Player of the Season after 11 goals and eight assists across 38 Premier League and FA Cup outings.

Leeds and Fulham are set to meet at Elland Road on December 19, offering Wilson a swift reunion with former team-mates.
