There are reports that CEO Giorgio Furlani and advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic are the figures who will be pushed out of Milan, potentially bringing Adriano Galliani back.

It is no secret that something has to change within the Rossoneri camp this summer, as there is a power battle erupting behind the scenes.

CEO Furlani clashes with director of sport Igli Tare, coach Max Allegri is not on speaking terms with Ibrahimovic, and patron Gerry Cardinale is forced to make big decisions very soon.

According to MilanNews and Tuttomercatoweb, the man who could be pushed out at the end of all this is Furlani.

He had been the strongest figure for several years at the club, representing former owners Elliott Management, but buying out the vendor loan means that Elliott no longer have any decisional power.

It allows Cardinale and RedBird to do without Furlani, who has become a figure of criticism from the fans in recent protests.

Ibrahimovic could also be forced out after his clashes with Allegri, though it remains unlikely that Tare will survive the cull regardless.

The latest reports point to the return of Galliani, who for over three decades was CEO of Milan under Silvio Berlusconi, then followed his patron to a new project at Monza.

Galliani turns 82 in July, so it would be a short-term scenario to rebuild the Diavolo.

The man given the job of finding a new long-term general manager is Massimo Calvelli, the right hand man of Cardinale.
