With the season reaching a critical stage, tensions inside Real Madrid appear to be rising ahead of the decisive El Clasico clash against Barcelona this weekend.
Fresh reports from Spain have revealed more details regarding the recently reported confrontation between midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni during training at Valdebebas earlier this week.
The incident reportedly began during a training-ground play on Wednesday when both midfielders clashed following a tense moment on the pitch.
As reported before, the disagreement quickly escalated into a heated exchange between the two players.
What initially started during training reportedly continued after the session ended, with the argument carrying over into the dressing room.
The confrontation is said to have become loud enough for people around the training complex to notice immediately, with news of the situation spreading rapidly inside Valdebebas.
The timing of the incident has only added more attention to the growing pressure surrounding Real Madrid ahead of Sunday’s huge meeting with Barcelona at Camp Nou.

In recent days, reports have also emerged involving Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Carreras after another training-ground altercation, while discussions surrounding Kylian Mbappe and his recent vacation have increased scrutiny around the squad.
However, journalist Jorge Picon has now offered an important update regarding the situation between Valverde and Tchouameni.
According to the latest information, although the exchange between the two midfielders lasted several minutes and the tension was visible to everyone present, the issue has already been resolved internally.
The journalist adds that the confrontation never became physical and has not developed into a larger dressing-room problem.
Both players are believed to have moved on from the incident quickly as the squad focuses on the upcoming Clasico.
Even so, the situation reflects the pressure currently surrounding the Madrid dressing room.
After a frustrating season filled with setbacks and inconsistent performances, emotions within the squad are understandably running high.
