The first half of the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea was a tense, goalless affair, but it was far from uneventful. The gripping contest reached a pivotal moment just before the break, culminating in the sending off of Chelsea's Moisés Caicedo, setting the stage for a dramatic second period.

It was after the interval that a young star carved his name into the Premier League history books. The introduction of Alejandro Garnacho was more than just a tactical substitution; it was a landmark moment. At the tender age of 22 years and 152 days, the Argentine winger became the youngest South American player ever to make 100 appearances in the competition. This milestone, achieved across 93 outings for Manchester United and 7 for Chelsea, saw him break a record previously held by Arsenal's Brazilian forward, Gabriel Martinelli.

In a testament to their resilience, it was Chelsea, despite their numerical disadvantage, who defiantly broke the deadlock through defender Trevoh Chalobah. However, the Gunners fought back, and by the 70th minute, the spoils were shared at 1-1 in a match that had already delivered on both drama and history.
