Gasperini ready to launch Sangaré and Lulli | OneFootball

Roma’s early season is marked by a constant seesaw of moods and expectations, but Gian Piero Gasperini has chosen the most practical path: seeking answers within the squad.

With January still a long way off and the transfer window just around the corner, the coach is working on “internal” solutions to expand the rotation and maintain a high level of competitiveness, as reported today by Il Messaggero.

Offensive difficulties and the lack of alternatives in key roles have prompted Gasperini to increasingly focus on the youth academy, where two names are catching the coach’s eye: Buba Sangaré and Gianluca Lulli, both key players in Guidi’s Primavera team.

Sangaré, a winger with great pace and personality, has been called up to the first team frequently but has remained on the bench in recent games.

However, his athleticism and ability to adapt to various winger roles make him an ideal candidate to provide breathing room for the starters.

Gasperini appreciates his technical ability and willingness to work, and his gradual inclusion in the rotation now appears imminent.

Lulli, born in 2007, is also developing alongside him. He’s a right-back with the versatility to also play on the left. His pace, attitude, and boldness make him an interesting prospect and, according to the coach, he’s ready to start experiencing the first-team atmosphere.
