Gasperini wants Raspadori at Roma after lack of Napoli room | OneFootball

Giacomo Raspadori had already been targeted by Gian Piero Gasperini for Atalanta, now the Napoli striker is on the wish list at Roma.

The striker has played a crucial role in both the Napoli Scudetto campaigns in 2023 and 2025, despite not being a regular in the starting XI for either campaign.

The 25-year-old had asked to leave in the January transfer window to get more playing time and was blocked by Antonio Conte.

Raspadori still frustrated at Napoli

However, Raspadori is still looking for more room to show what he can do and the answer may well be at Roma.

Gasperini had already wanted to sign the former Sassuolo man for his Atalanta squad, so now that he is taking over at Roma, the striker is the first name on the list.

The versatile Italy international can play in a variety of attacking roles and this season contributed six goals with one assist in 26 Serie A appearances for Napoli.

Inter are also reported to be interested in Raspadori for next term.
