Gautier Larsonneur will be out for several weeks with a thigh injury, a significant setback for Saint-Étienne before Saturday’s trip to Grenoble at 20:00.

According to Le Progres, the captain was hurt after a clearance. He will not travel to Isère and will miss at least the home game against Annecy on 21 March at 20:00.

The treatment room remains crowded. Before last week’s 2-0 against Red Star, Philippe Montanier was already without Chico Lamba, Lassana Traoré, Joao Ferreira, Maxime Bernauer, Florian Tardieu, Mahmoud Jaber and Djylian N’Guessan.

Lamba has rejoined group training, but he will take minutes with the reserves on Sunday against Dijon’s reserves at 15:00.

Ferreira, N’Guessan and Bernauer are working on the side. Tardieu faces several more weeks out with a calf problem.
