Gaviões da Fiel respond to end of Corinthians statute reform hearings

The public hearings on the reform of the Corinthians bylaws officially ended this past Monday (9th), where the meeting was closed to Deliberative Council Members, but with the presence of members of the organized supporters group Gaviões da Fiel at the door of the amphitheater in Parque São Jorge.

After the end of the meeting and its repercussions, on the afternoon of this Tuesday (10th), Gaviões da Fiel officially took a stand on the end of the meetings and gave an overall summary of their impressions of the public hearings that discussed all the rules of the possible new Corinthians Bylaws.

In their statement, the organization praised the proposals made during the meetings, believing them to be important changes and modernization measures for the future of Corinthians, but emphasized caution regarding the issue of the Fiel Torcedor vote, which is being discussed to take place in the 2026 election or only in the 2030 election.

It is worth noting that, with the end of the meetings, the vote within the Deliberative Council, where all the texts will be put on the agenda to be voted on, should officially take place on March 2 or 9, and may be rejected by the CD representatives.

“SUMMARY OF THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE BYLAW REFORM

The board of Gaviões da Fiel Torcida actively participated in the ten public hearings held to discuss the reform of the Bylaws of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, democracy, and the strengthening of the club.

Throughout the meetings, important proposals were discussed for the modernization of management, increased participation of members, of the Fiel Torcedor, and greater administrative responsibility. Gaviões was present at every stage, listening, contributing, and defending the interests of the Fiel Torcida.

However, Gaviões continues to follow the process with caution, especially in light of the resistance from some council members regarding the right of the Fiel Torcedor to participate in the direct election of the club president.

As the next step, Gaviões will call on the Fiel Torcida to attend the vote in the Deliberative Council, which may take place on March 2 or 9, reinforcing the importance of mobilization and popular participation at this decisive moment.

In addition, the organization awaits the new version of the draft for a thorough analysis, ensuring that the proposed changes are aligned with the interests of the club, the members, and the fans.

For Gaviões, the democratization of Corinthians is essential to ensure a more representative, transparent management aligned with the will of its fans. The fight for the effective participation of the Fiel in decision-making remains a priority.”
