It is not just Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is learning on the job for AC Milan, and reports suggest that two other senior members of staff have been back to school.
We have regularly heard that Ibrahimovic is still learning in his position, and in a way, so are we. There are still some difficulties in working out what the Swede does for the club, and what he doesn’t do, given he doesn’t even work for Milan, as he already stated.
Education is not limited though, and it seems that other members of the management are also partaking in some classes to further better their credentials.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Jovan Kirovski and Geoffrey Moncada, the chief of the Milan Futuro team and the Technical Director, respectively, are both enrolled on a course to become Sporting Directors.
In a document published on the University of Salento’s website, the duo can be found together in the ‘List of those admitted to the Training Course for Sports Director in Football’, which would see them earn the appropriate licence from the FIGC.
Moncada is set to be taking a step back, if you will, into his former role, with the club looking to make a new appointment this summer, so the point in this training is likely for the far future.
