Roma continues to move decisively in the winter transfer window, aiming to strengthen their attack and resolve the offensive issues that have plagued the first half of the season.
The Giallorossi’s key targets remain Raspadori and Zirkzee. But they’ll also have to sell.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are reportedly working on the exits of Ferguson and Dovbyk to accommodate Raspadori and Zirkzee. While the former is considering terminating his loan at Brighton, buyers are being sought for the Ukrainian.
West Ham, who have closed with Lazio for Castellanos, have fallen through, while Sunderland remains a potential option for the former Girona player, and a new possibility has emerged.
De Rossi’s Genoa have reportedly targeted Dovbyk.
The Rossoblu have reportedly asked for the 1997-born player on loan, but Massara has refused.
The salary hurdle is too great, with the Giallorossi expected to cover a significant portion of the deal for this second half of the season.
