Tommaso Baldanzi could remain at Genoa.

Daniele De Rossi, yesterday following the 2-1 win at Pisa, praised the attacking midfielder from Poggibonsi: “He had a fantastic game, he was extremely skilled. He offered us plenty of options in passing the ball and in breaking away from their pressure. He made the difference, even in key situations.”

The Rossoblu coach also commented on a possible stay in Genoa: “Is there a chance he’ll stay? Maybe I’ll go and pick him up directly from his home, that’s my answer!”

DDR is already planning next season, and Baldanzi appears to be central to their coaching project. That’s why the club is considering supporting their manager.

Genoa is considering exercising the buyout option agreed with Roma in January.

As Nicolò Schirà reports, the Rossoblu club is preparing to activate the purchase option for €10 million.

Personal terms with the player have already been agreed upon for a potential contract until 2030.

The Giallorossi are confident they will receive the money that could help them prepare for the settlement agreement, which must be respected and the accounts balanced by June 30th.
