Sport Mediaset claim that Genoa are now on the verge of securing 24-year-old left-sided winger Stroud, who made four appearances for Sweden at the 2026 World Cup.

He has been at Mjallby since January 2023 with a contract that only runs to December 31 this year.

Meanwhile, Sportitalia note that their next target for a striker is Bentayeb, who returned to parent club Union Touarga after a strong loan experience for Troyes where he scored 20 goals in 31 games.

The 24-year-old Morocco international is a centre-forward who can also play on the right of an attack, he has one senior cap.
