Germany will hope to secure top spot in their UEFA Nations League group on Saturday evening when they take on Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Europa-Park Stadion in Freiburg.
With just two games left to play in the UEFA Nations League group stage, Germany have already secured their place in the quarterfinals. And on Saturday, Julian Nagelsmann's side will have their sights set on continuing their strong run of form and making sure of top spot in their group.
Going into their clash against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany have a five point lead over second placed Netherlands. Even a draw against Bosnia would be enough to confirm top spot.
It will be interesting to see how Germany line up on Saturday, with a number of key players still sidelined, including Deniz Undav, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Niclas Füllkrug. Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterebeck is suspended and will also miss the game.
Pascal Groß will likely start in the Germany midfield alongside Robert Andrich, while Felix Nmecha and Julian Brandt could also be in contention to feature. Jamal Musiala will look to lead the way in attack for Germany, with Florian Wirtz a minor injury doubt.
VfB Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic will start up front for Bosnia, who have only managed one point from their opening four Nations League matches. When the two sides met in October, a brace from Undav secured the three points for Germany. Edin Dzeko was on target for Bosnia in that game, and will likely start in attack against on Saturday.
Bosnia and Herzegovina: Vasilj - Bicakcic, Barisic, Mujakic - Gazibegovic, Gigovic, Dedic - Burnic, Huseinbasic - Dzeko, Demirovic
