Billy Gilmour reacted on social media to his first Serie A goal for Napoli: ‘Andiamo!’

Gilmour opened the account in Napoli’s 3-2 win over Pisa on Monday night, finding the net with a left-foot finish in the first half.

The former Brighton midfielder was delighted with his goal and Napoli’s win and conveyed his satisfaction on social media after the match.

“ANDIAMOOOO! First Serie A goal & a big win for the boys,” Gilmour wrote on Instagram, adding a few pictures of his goal celebration.

Gilmour’s social media post received over 36,000 likes in less than one day and was commented on by some of his teammates and compatriots.

Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson, another Scotland international, commented on with three fire emojis, while former Napoli striker Giacomo Raspadori, now at Atletico Madrid, wrote: “Billyyyy what a left foot.”

Gilmour, 24, has made 32 appearances with Napoli and won the Serie A title in 2024-25.
