Girona star to seal €30m Premier League switch this week | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Girona is all set for a move to England, with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s according to market expert Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Ladislav Krejčí as the player in question.

Versatile defender Krejčí for his part only made the move to the Estadi Montilivi in the summer of 2024, from his home country of the Czech Republic.

And despite the struggles of his new club as a collective, the 26-year-old for the most part went on to impress in his first year in Spain.

Such efforts did not go unnoticed elsewhere in Europe, with a number of clubs understood to have expressed an interest in luring Krejčí away from Catalunya over recent weeks.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, then one such suitor appear to have beaten out the competition for his signature.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Ladislav Krejci, expected to become new Wolves player from Girona this week for fee over €30m. Verbal agreement in place between all parties and formal steps to follow soon.’
