The Celtic Star has been supplying One Football with content for many years now and later were joined by the official Celtic FC website – have a look HERE. The app is brilliant.
Celtic are unbeaten in their last eight home league games against theRangers (W6 D2), winning each of their last five in a row. Never in their history have the Hoops won six consecutive home league derbies against an Ibrox club, dead or alive.
After their 3-0 win in January, theRangers are looking to win back-to-back league Glasgow derbies against Celtic for the first time since August 2021 under Steven Gerrard, and first time within a single season since winning their first two such meetings of the freakish 2020-21 Covid campaign, when no supporters were allowed to attend games.

Celtic are on course to make it 13 title wins in 14 seasons, while theRangers have one title win in their entire history dating back to July 2012 when they played Brechin City away in the old Third Division. Lest we forget.
Seven of the last 13 league Glasgow derbies have seen the opening goal scored within the first 10 minutes of the match. The side scoring first has won seven of the last eight league meetings between Celtic and theRangers, with the exception being a 3-3 draw between the sides in April 2024, which Philippe Clement famously claimed as a win anyway. Celtic went on to win the title.

Celtic have won 19 of their last 20 home league games (D1), including each of their last 10 in a row by an aggregate score of 37-1. The Hoops have scored 2+ goals in all 20 of these matches – their longest ever such run in the league.
theRangers have lost two of their last three league games (W1), as many as their previous 18 beforehand (W12 D4). The New Gers could lose successive matches in the Scottish Premiership for the first time since March 2018 under another caretaker, Graeme Murty.

This will be the current caretaker Barry Ferguson’s first Glasgow derby in charge of theRangers. None of the club’s last eight managers to face Celtic have won their first meeting with their rivals in all competitions (D3 L5), with the last being Ally McCoist in September 2011 for the old Rangers. Away from home, eight of the last 10 the/Rangers managers to visit Celtic lost their first trip (D2) since Walter Smith won 2-0 in August 1991, again for the now defunct outfit.

Barry Ferguson will be the seventh different theRangers manager to face Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic in all competitions (also Mark Warburton, Graeme Murty, Pedro Caixinha, Steven Gerrard, Michael Beale, and Philippe Clement). In the club’s history, no other Hoops boss has faced more than four different managers of an Ibrox club.

Celtic trio Alistair Johnston, Daizen Maeda, and Nicolas Kühn are all joint-top for assists in the Scottish Premiership this season (7 each), while theRangers pair Václav Cerny (66) and James Tavernier (54) are the top two players for chances created in the competition this term.
theRangers have lost two of their last three league games (W1), as many as their previous 18 beforehand (W12 D4). The Gers could lose successive matches in the Scottish Premiership for the first time since March 2018 under the legendary Graeme Murty.
Enjoy the game folks, and COYBIG!
