Oliver Glasner says reaching the semi-finals of the Conference League is a “massive achievement” for Crystal Palace – and provided updates on the injuries to Adam Wharton and Maxence Lacroix.

Palace lost 2-1 to Fiorentina but progressed 4-2 on aggregate following their first-leg win at Selhurst Park last week.

“A quarter-final is never easy and we made it a little bit tougher than it could have been,” Glasner reflected.

“To go to the semi-finals is a massive achievement for the players and Crystal Palace.”

Palace were, however, handed two injury blows with both Lacroix and Wharton both forced off.

“Adam, it’s his adductor again when he had to leave the England camp,” Glasner said.

“Let’s see. It doesn’t look so serious but of course we have to assess him further.

“Maxence, he touched foot to foot and then he felt his knee. I think the medial ligament. Let’s see, it’s painful.

“Unfortunately we play in four days again but also credit to all the players who came in.”
