Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt looks set to make another deep run in the Europa League after putting more than one foot in the quarter finals against Ajax this evening.
After a 2-1 away win in Amsterdam during their first leg clash last week, Die Adler have jumped to a 2-0 lead in Germany's financial capital tonight to all but guarantee their place in the next round of the competition.
Fans will no doubt be enjoying themselves at Deutsche Bank Park, especially after a sensational goal by former German international and Borussia Dortmund wunderkind Mario Götze.
Now 32 and heading into the twilight of his career, Götze rolled the clock back to bag Frankfurt's second goal in the 25th minute when he chested down a chipped pass from Robin Koch before turning to slot past Ajax 'keeper Matheus on the half-volley.
Aging like a fine Swabian Whiskey.
