Serie A might just have to scrap the Goal of the Season vote already, after Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski scored a sensational effort against Hellas Verona.

Cristian Chivu’s side snatched a dramatic late win through Martin Frese’s own goal, though it’s the opener that will generate headlines after a moment of magic.

Zielinski has failed to reproduce his Napoli best consistently since signing for Inter on a free transfer in 2024, but this goal was a reminder of his class.

In a routine straight off the training ground, Hakan Calhanoglu floated a corner kick back towards the edge of area. Waiting, was the Poland international, who unleashed the cleanest of volleys to leave Lorenzo Montipo with no chance.
