With the EFL season done and the Premier League close to finishing, transfer talk is gathering pace around Wolves, West Brom and Aston Villa.

West Brom are said to be monitoring a goalkeeper they assessed in January. Albion signed Max O’Leary from Bristol City, he impressed in the second half and is out of contract this summer. According to the Sunderland Echo, Anthony Patterson’s situation at Millwall is uncertain after leaving Sunderland.

In January, Beskitas brought in Wolves defender Emmanual Agbadou, and claims in Türkiye suggest they want another centre back. Yerson Mosquera has reportedly drawn interest after relegation was confirmed.

Gomes is set to be among several Wolves departures this summer. He has long been linked with Napoli and Atletico Madrid, and Spain is said to be his most likely destination. Reports indicate Champions League semi-finalists plan new meetings in the coming weeks to try to conclude a deal.

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Svante Ingelsson is attracting interest from Championship sides. He was a standout in a troubled campaign that brought administration and relegation.

Aston Villa are reportedly unlikely to bring Douglas Luiz back permanently. The midfielder left for Juventus in 2024, then returned in January to bolster Unai Emery’s options, featuring 17 times. Villa have no obligation to buy, and Juventus are said to want about £23m.

Villa are also among Premier League clubs showing interest in out of contract Rangers youngster Bailey Rice.
