Manchester City will face off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium this Sunday evening as they look to earn all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian club were held to a 2-2 draw away at Monaco recently, so they would be keen on getting back to winning ways this weekend.
Pep Guardiola will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this game. Nico Gonzalez and Matheus Nunes could both play from the start of this contest.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will operate in between the sticks for Man City after shipping in a couple of goals in his last outing. Ruben Dias will function alongside Josko Gvardiol at the centre of Guardiola’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the 90 minutes.
Matheus Nunes will be named as the right-back, while Nico O’Reilly hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Guardiola will instruct both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Nathan Ake and Rico Lewis will be named on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Guardiola will opt for a midfield three of Phil Foden, Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders for this game. All three of them need to retain possession well in the middle of the park and orchestrate some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Mateo Kovacic and Rodri will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Jeremy Doku will try to prove his worth on the left flank, while Bernardo Silva looks to impress as the right-winger. Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City’s attack up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net after scoring a brace in midweek.
Oscar Bobb and Divin Mukasa will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Man City are in need of a goal.
