Mamelodi Sundowns defender Grant Kekana is expecting a tough encounter against newly promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City.
Masandawana will host the newcomers at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday (20h00) as they look to get back to winning ways after a midweek stalemate with Marumo Gallants.
Sundowns head into the match sitting in second place on the log standings, having picked up 15 points from the first seven league outings.
Ahead of the match, Kekana is braced for the KZN-based outfit to give them a run for their money, with crucial maximum points at stake.
“I think there is going to be a lot of fight from Durban City. Coach Gavin Hunt’s teams fight until the last minute; there is going to be a lot of aggression,” said the Downs center-back.
However, the Bafana international went on to send a stern warning to City that getting a favorable result against the defending champions in the capital is not an easy task.
“I think the boys will be mentally prepared, luckily, it’s our home game and we try to make our home a fortress. So, it’s going to be a nice game,” added Kekana.
While Sundowns are the firm favorites, Hunt’s side will be eager to continue their impressive start to the campaign as they are in fourth place with 11 points amassed in six games.
