Grêmio have advanced talks to extend André Henrique’s contract until December 2029, despite interest from Vasco da Gama.
According to Gremistas.net, the forward, 24, is under contract until the end of 2026 and could sign a pre-contract with another club from mid-season.
In the attacking pecking order he sits behind Carlos Vinícius and Braithwaite, the latter currently injured. He made 36 appearances last season, scoring six goals and adding three assists.
Beyond Vasco’s interest, an offer from Göztepe of Türkiye, worth two million euros, about R$ 12.3 million, arrived late in 2025 and was rejected by the Grêmio board.
André Henrique joined in 2023 on loan from Hercílio Luz. After impressing, the club exercised their option and paid R$ 6.4 million for 40% of his economic rights.
