Grêmio clinched the 2026 Campeonato Gaúcho after a 1-1 draw with Internacional, completing a 4-1 aggregate triumph.

The Gre-Nal 451 stalemate at Beira-Rio delivered Grêmio's eighth title in the past 10 Gauchões and the club's 44th state crown.

Wellisson of relegated Avenida and Fabinho Polhão of Monsoon finished as joint top scorers with six goals.

On Friday, São Luiz of Ijuí won the Troféu Farroupilha against Novo Hamburgo, securing a 2027 Copa do Brasil berth. Both clubs also booked places in Série D.

The relegation battle went to the final round, with Monsoon beating Guarany de Bagé 2-0 to stay up on goal difference. Avenida drew 0-0 with Inter de Santa Maria, and both clubs dropped to Série A2.

Final standings saw champions Grêmio followed by runners-up Internacional, third-placed Juventude, winners of the Interior title, fourth-placed Ypiranga and fifth-placed São Luiz. Novo Hamburgo, São José, Caxias and Guarany de Bagé also preserved top-flight status.
