Guerra delivered three points in San Sebastián, scoring his first brace as Valencia confirmed their top flight status.

He produced two goals from four shots on target, plus five dribbles, one cross and six completed passes in the final third. AS notes he was overlooked for MVP, which went to Óskarsson.

The win keeps alive a return to Europe after seven years heading into the final day. He said the numbers suggest he is in his best spell and that, if there is a chance to dream of Europe, they should go for it.

He played from start to finish, unusual in his campaign. Of 35 Liga outings, Corberán has kept him on for 90 minutes only six times.

Guerra has found a sharper edge as an attacking midfielder, linking the double pivot and the striker. In San Sebastián he connected Guido and Ugrinic with Hugo Duro.

He has occupied that role since the visit to San Mamés and did so again against Rayo Vallecano, when he produced his sixth assist of the season, his best annual figure since his top flight debut.

Only once in his 128 Valencia matches has he attempted more shots than in San Sebastián, five against Espanyol in April 2025. That game yielded one of his 11 professional goals to go with 10 assists.
