AC Milan Primavera won by four goals against Udinese today, and Federico Guidi spoke to the press after the dominant win.

It has been a tough season for Milan Primavera at times, but the group have continued to push towards the same goal and now achieving a Scudetto play-off place is more than feasible with the side sitting sixth at present.

The 4-0 win today was a telling sign of the Rossoneri’s spirit and desire to push forward in the final moments of the season, and if they achieve a spot in the top six, then they will look back on this win as monumental.

After the fixture, Guidi spoke to Milan News about the victory and the group’s condition ahead of the final push.

Will you watch your playoff opponents’ match later?

“Yes, yes, we are all very attentive to the matches. It doesn’t just depend on us. We will try to do our best as we are doing. Along the way, we have received fewer points than we deserved, but we want to believe, and today is proof of that.”

Sometimes the result was missing…

“We analysed the games thoroughly. But then we have to be good at breaking down the result of the individual game and analysing the performance in depth. And this group has rarely made a mistake in the performance. We are the youngest team in the championship, and in some readings we can fail.”

How to catechise children?

“Some very young players, like Tartaglia, did a great performance today. Comotto has been a starter since the beginning of the season: you can’t tell he’s a 2008 from the way he interprets the situation, from the way he does the two phases; we’re satisfied with how he’s growing.

“In my opinion, he can be even more effective than he has been in this championship; next year we’ll see some great things.”

It must be said that the coach’s work this season has been fantastic, and with the group being the youngest in the division, it adds more to the achievements.
