Guilherme Estrella has returned to CT Moacyr Barbosa after ending his CRB loan early, and is training apart while Vasco decide his future. He is not in Pedro Emanuel’s current rotation.

According to Globo.com, his deal runs to December 2028. The club regard him as a valuable academy asset and intend to seek another loan in the second half of the year.

The CRB spell had been set to run until the end of 2026, but it ended in June, four months after his arrival in Maceió. He made 15 appearances, starting three times, and recorded two assists without scoring.

The loan permitted an early mid-year return, aligned with the European window. The termination was requested by the player after limited opportunities and agreed with the CRB hierarchy.

Estrella joined CRB in late February. Minutes were scarce in a side that won the state title, with most chances coming when Eduardo Barroca rotated, including Copa do Nordeste fixtures.

Vasco had planned a loan for early 2026 to increase his minutes, renewing his contract to 2028 before the move. His progress in the senior squad had been hampered by knee problems, now fully resolved after a long recovery.
