Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes scored the opening goal as Brazil beat Egypt 2-1 in a World Cup warm-up game.
Guimaraes opened the scoring after seven minutes, with the midfielder robbing Mohanad Lashin of possession on the edge of the area before firing a finish past Egypt goalkeeper Mostafa Shoubir.
The goal was the highlight of a man of the match performance from the 28-year-old, who arced his finish perfectly into the far corner in Cleveland, Ohio.
However, another defensive error allowed Egypt to equalise just four minutes later. PSG defender Marquinhos under-hit a back-pass, gifting Mostafa Zico a leveller.
Brazil found a second goal after half-time, with Endrick on target. The Real Madrid forward, who impressed on loan at Lyon last season, came on as a second-half substitute and turned in from Raphinha’s pass.
Brazil begin their World Cup campaign against Morocco this Saturday.
