Gustavo Henrique drives bus at Corinthians kit launch after Category D exam

Gustavo Henrique took the wheel of a bus during Corinthians’ new kit launch on Friday, with women’s team players on board.

According to Globo.com, the defender had gone viral in late April after being seen taking the practical exam to obtain a Category D CNH licence.

Passengers included Andressa Alves, Vic Albuquerque, Duda Sampaio and Jaqueline.

He secured the Category D to drive his new pick-up. The category covers buses, vans and minibuses, plus other passenger transport, which is why his test images were taken inside a school bus.

Gustavo Henrique is enjoying a fine year for Corinthians, and is the club’s second-top scorer. In 2026 he has four goals and two assists in 23 appearances, and leads the outfield group for minutes with 2,336.
