Gustavo Henrique nears 2025 appearance mark and seeks most prolific year | OneFootball

Globo.com reports that Corinthians centre-back Gustavo Henrique begins the second half of the year chasing the most prolific season of his career. He has scored four times in 2026, one short of the five he managed for Santos in 2019.

The 33-year-old has already played 30 games this year and needs nine more to match his 2025 total.

The No 13 is a leading figure in Fernando Diniz’s squad and a key part of the side. He is the fifth outfield player with most minutes, clocking 3,042 this season.

The squad will regroup at CT Joaquim Grava next Thursday to begin interseason preparations.

Diniz’s side are due back in competitive action in the week of 22 July, facing Remo at Neo Química Arena in the Brasileirão.

Before that, they will play a friendly against Cascavel on 12 July, in Cascavel.
