Erling Haaland is among the nominees for September’s PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.

Haaland is up against Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins as well as Arsenal pair David Raya and Gabriel in the running for the prize.

The 24-year-old has had another strong month in sky blue, bagging three goals across three Premier League games and clocking up an impressive milestone, too.

He started September with a double in the 2-1 victory over Brentford as Pep Guardiola’s men came back from a first minute set-back to record an important three point haul at the Etihad.

The powerhouse striker then opened the scoring in the rip-roaring 2-2 draw with Arsenal, his ninth minute fine finish bringing up 100 goals for City.

In the process he became one of only 19 players to have hit that century number for the Blues – a quite incredible achievement when you consider the landmark came in just 105 games.

The Norwegian forward sits atop the Premier League scoring charts for 2024/25 as we enter the international break, with ten goals from seven matches played, four ahead of fellow award nominee and former teammate Palmer.
