Hahn chase hints at another West Ham shift | OneFootball

Maximilian Hahn who is a top advisor in West Ham‘s recruitment team, is being headhunted by other clubs.

The highly rated scout, who joined the club under former Technical Director Tim Stediten, has been a mainstay within the club’s recruitment team, to have recently run under Kyle Macaulay.

Following the sacking of Graham Potter, it was expected that Macaulay would be close behind the former Brighton boss, however Macaulay remains as the clubs Head of Recruitment for now.

Hahn has now been approached by a number of clubs, including Southampton, to make a step up to a Director of Football level.

At present it remains unclear if Hahn is of interest for a similar role at West Ham, however, with David Sullivan eager to keep his say on recruitment, that is unlikely.

Therefore West Ham could well be set to lose Hahn, which will be seen as a blow, with the German said to be a key person in identifying Mallick Diouf in the summer.

The situation points towards a setup whereby Sullivan will again be in the driving seat, with a reliance on agents to put forward players to the Chairman.
