Barcelona players reconvened for training today after enjoying a three-day break following their La Liga win over Sevilla on Sunday.
With the Catalans not playing again until Monday night, manager Hansi Flick decided to give the players a mini-break for three days amidst a busy season.
Earlier today, the players returned to train at the Ciutat Esportiva as they started preparations for the game against Rayo Vallecano on Monday night.
As reported by Victor Navarro, Flick decided to call up two young talents from the academy – Noah Darvich and Guille Fernandez – to train with the first-team squad today.
Darvich, 18, has had a difficult start to 2025, having been out of action since the start of the year due to a hamstring injury.

The German attacking midfielder made his comeback in Barça Atletic’s most recent game against Gimnastic Segoviana, playing for three minutes.
Now, needing more minutes under his belt to regain his rhythm, the youngster was afforded an opportunity to train with the senior players, with Flick even including him in the UEFA Champions League squad for the knockout phase.
Meanwhile, Guille Fernandez also worked today’s session with the first-team squad. The teenage prodigy is a semi-regular in senior training sessions, with Flick being an admirer of his talents.
The 16-year-old has become a regular for Barça Atletic this season, scoring five and assisting one goal from 16 games.
An official senior debut has yet to materialise, but the young midfielder continues to get exposure with the first-team squad.
