Luka Modrić, born on 9 September 1985, is celebrating turning 40 years old today. Age is just a number, and on the pitch, the Croatian champion proves it every day. He arrived with an array of experience and a decorated trophy cabinet, and has made himself available right away, for the benefit of the team and manager, with his humility, silent leadership, and plenty of determination to get results from games.
