Born on 2 February 1975 in Gaglianico, the coach is in his first season at the helm of the Inter Primavera. A deep bond ties Zanchetta to the Nerazzurri colours: the current U20 coach began his adventure in the world of football when he joined the Inter youth sector as a player at the age of 13. A path that led him to his first-team debut in 1994: In total, Zanchetta collected 5 appearances donning the Inter shirt in the 1994/95 season.
After continuing his career elsewhere, he retired from playing football in 2011 to begin his new life as a coach. In 2016, Zanchetta returned to work for the Nerazzurri youth sector, winning two championships and two Supercoppe with the Under-17 team. In 2019/20, he headed Inter U18s for the first time, a team he returned to coach permanently in 2021 after another year with the Under-17 team. In July 2024, he became the coach of the Primavera team, achieving important milestones: the Nerazzurri's Under-20 team qualified for the Youth League round of 16 by taking first place in the League Phase with 6 wins out of 6, while they currently occupy fourth place in the domestic league with 43 points and 13 wins after 23 matches.
Best wishes to Andrea Zanchetta from the whole Inter world on his 50th birthday!
