Harry Kane praised the improvement Arsenal have made since their last Champions League meeting with Bayern Munich in 2024.
The Gunners were knocked out by the German side 3-2 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-final back in 2024.
But Kane believes the Gunners are more dangerous this time around.
“A bit more experienced,” he said when asked about where Arsenal have improved. “They’ve got a bit more solid, they still probably play in similar patterns to what they did then but I think defensively their structure is harder to break down.
“And just probably more experienced, I’ll go back to. When you’ve been under the same coach for a while and learnt from title races, learn from Champions League campaigns, ultimately you learn as a player and get better as a player and I think as a squad, plus some of the additions they’ve made as well has helped them to grow and that’s why they’re in the position they are now.
“It will be a good test for us to see where we’re at.
“They are top of the Premier League for a reason and have won every game in the Champions League for a reason.
“They have good habits as a team, they’ve been working with Mikel (Arteta) now for a long time and I think you see the way they set up, the way they get second balls, the way they play, can be really dangerous, and with set pieces added to that as well, a really solid team.
“We have to try and match them in all those departments, we have to try and play in our way and our style, try and make it difficult for them to get the ball, try and keep the momentum on our side and try to win the ball back quickly when they have it.
“It will be two of the best teams in Europe going at each other.”
