Harry Kane will miss Bayern Munich’s home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday because of a calf knock.

According to L'Équipe, head coach Vincent Kompany said on Thursday that Kane had taken a blow to his calf and was not yet fully recovered. He described it as only a knock and nothing serious for now, and added he could be unavailable for one more day.

The fixture kicks off at 20:30 and opens matchday 25 in the Bundesliga.

The Three Lions captain, 32, has scored 30 goals in 24 matches this season for the league leaders.

Defenders Hiroki Ito and Alphonso Davies will also be absent.
