Hasegawa shortlisted for PFA Fans' player of the month | OneFootball

Yui Hasegawa has been nominated for March's PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.

The Japan international was in incredible form across March in all competitions, as she found a place in the starting line-up for every game last month.

She began the month with an assist for Aoba Fujino's winning goal in our Barclays Women's Super League triumph over Tottenham Hotspur at Brisbane Road, fresh from helping Japan to SheBelievesCup glory.

Yui also helped us to a 1-1 draw with West Ham in the league before playing a vital role in the middle of the park against Aston Villa in our 2-0 triumph that saw us advance to the semi-final of the FA Cup.

She played an essential role across all of our fixtures against Chelsea as she has cemented herself as an integral part of our midfield.

Our Midfield maestro has played a part in every WSL game this season and this month in particular has proved why she is indispensable.

This is also her first nomination for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award as she is recognised for her impressive start to 2025.

Yui is up against Arsenal duo Alessia Russo and Mariona Caldentey, Manchester United's Leah Galton, as well as West Ham's Viviane Asseyi and Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert on the six-player shortlist.
