Brazilian star Vinicius Junior came under heavy criticism after the latest El Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, which took place on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu and ended with a 2-1 victory for the Merengues.
The match was marked by controversial behavior from the Brazilian winger, especially after he was substituted in the 70th minute.
Vinicius showed his frustration quite visibly toward his coach Xabi Alonso, heading straight to the dressing room before returning to the bench a few minutes later.
In this context, former French international Christophe Dugarry voiced his exasperation with Vinicius' behavior on RMC, calling it unacceptable and warning that if it continues, it could jeopardize his future at Real Madrid.
Dugarry stated: "I loved Mbappé's match, both his attitude and his behavior. Unlike Vinicius, who is unbearable. He's always whining at the referee, at his opponents. He riles up the crowd like he's in an arena. Now he's insulting his coach. You can be disappointed, but this is way over the line."
He added: "Leave, man, your performances are not up to par. He annoys me, he's always complaining, always asking for something. He's still a long way from the level he showed in recent seasons. He needs to question himself. He's a future Ballon d'Or winner, a leader for Brazil, one of Real's best. But if he wants to reach that level, he has to show something different. Florentino Pérez will ship him out."
