Hemp was at her irrepressible best across February, picking up two goals and three assists in our four matches in all competitions.

It began with a tireless display out on the left against Chelsea, as City beat the reigning Barclays Women’s Super League champions 5-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

She set up Kerolin for the Brazilian’s third in the rout, with further goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Miedema capping off a memorable afternoon.

And after a brief setback against Arsenal the following week, Hemp perhaps put on her finest display this season in a 6-0 win over Leicester.

She created six chances from open play in the first half, a number bettered only by Fran Kirby in WSL history, as well as grabbing two assists before the break.

It was a similar story after the restart, with Hemp becoming the first player in WSL history to create more than ten chances from open play in a single game.

Her incredible form continued in our final match of February, with the England winger scoring twice in a 4-0 win over Sheffield United to book our spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
