Hendrick links up with Rams

The Republic of Ireland international has signed a deal until the end of the season with Rams - the club where he started his professional career.

He had been a free agent following his departure from St. James' Park after 27 appearances and three goals in black and white.

Hendrick, 33, told the official Derby website: "I'm an older player now, so maybe (I can bring) a bit of experience to help players in any way I can, whether it's talking in training or showing them things in training. If I didn't think I could bring something, there'd be no point in me coming here and being away from my family."
