Fans of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Tuesday moved to lavish collective praise on a member of the club’s attacking ranks.

The player in question? Rodrygo.

Wide-man Rodrygo was for his part afforded a rare opportunity to impress from the off this evening.

With Kylian Mbappé considered well enough only for a place on the bench for Real Madrid’s Champions League showdown with Manchester City, the Brazilian slotted in on the right wing.

And though his side currently trail by two goals to one, Rodrygo has been in nothing short of wonderful form.

Looking back to his brilliant best, the 24-year-old has excelled in everything from dribbling to passing, chance creation and more.

The highlight of his showing, though, came upon Rodrygo bringing an end to his historic goalscoring drought, with a fine finish from a tight angle.

And such excellence has not gone at all unappreciated on the part of the Blancos faithful, who have taken to social media in their droves to lavish praise on their side’s under-fire winger:
