Hibernian host Hearts in the Scottish Premiership on 26 April at Easter Road, with the leaders visiting the side in fifth in the Championship group.

The last league meeting finished 1-0 to Hearts in February, while Hibernian edged December's Easter Road contest 3-2. Draws have also been common across recent history.

The Hibees have been stubborn of late, taking three straight draws before a 3-0 home win over Kilmarnock and a 2-0 defeat at Aberdeen. The Jam Tarts arrive with three wins in their last five, a 2-2 draw at Livingston and a 1-0 loss at Kilmarnock in the mix, capped by a 3-1 victory against Motherwell.

The Jambos' season profile points to control and resilience: 16 clean sheets, only 28 conceded and 53% possession. They have also scored 18 headed goals, which could test the Hibs back line. The Hibees, with 81.20% pass accuracy, have supplied 505 open play crosses at 20.59% accuracy and netted nine headers, so deliveries from wide may be a route. Up front, Cláudio Braga has 14 league goals for The Jam Tarts, with Lawrence Shankland on 13. For Hibs, Jamie McGrath and Kieron Bowie are on eight, with Martin Boyle at six.

The Jam Tarts top the Championship group on 70 points and a win would strengthen their hold on first place. Hibs are fifth on 51 and victory could close the gap on Motherwell in fourth.
