Just like the First Team, last weekend marked the start of the Cantera Rojiblanca journey in the 2025 Apertura, specifically on the pitch at La Esmeralda against the Panzas Verdes de León. It was a perfect day for the Rebaño Sagrado's Under-21 and Under-19 teams, as both sides won their respective matches, but there was one player who stood out above the rest this weekend.
We are talking about Brandon Brocksom, who got off to the best possible start with Chivas' Under-19 team, scoring a hat trick against La Fiera, which completely shaped Guadalajara's 3-0 victory.
Today, he wears the number 239 jersey for the Rebaño, where he began his training process several years ago and made his way into the professional ranks in the 2021 Apertura with the Under-14 team. In his four years in the Liga MX youth divisions, Brandon is about to reach 100 official games as a Rebaño player.
He has important qualities as a striker, which have allowed him to score 25 goals, ultimately contributing to the Under-16 team winning the CL24 championship by defeating Atlas at the Jalisco Stadium with him on the field.
An interesting fact about the young striker born in Zapopan is that he has English ancestry, as his father is originally from the UK and was a rugby player in his day.
There is no doubt that special attention should be paid to Brocksom's performances and those of the entire Chivas U19 team, as they have built an interesting path over the last few semesters in their category.
