Hirst strikes from bench as Ipswich Town climb to third

Ipswich Town beat Watford 2-0 at Vicarage Road, climbing from fourth to third in the Championship as the hosts slipped from ninth to 12th.
In the 37th minute Sindre Egeli struck from the centre after a set piece to put the Tractor Boys ahead.
After the restart, substitute George Hirst turned in Jacob Greaves' pass from close range (77.).
Tom Ince drew a late penalty after a foul by Darnell Furlong. Christian Walton saved the winger's spot kick (84.). The Hornets pushed on and Walton also denied Nestory Irankunda in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.
The Tractor Boys registered three shots on target from 11 attempts. The Hornets produced two efforts on target from 11 attempts.
