🎥 Holland ends dream WSL derby half for Liverpool in style with screamer | OneFootball

Heading into today's first Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, Liverpool were in desperate need of a result in their bid to stay in the Women's Super League. 

After 45 minutes, they are on course for a stunning victory over Everton and have Ceri Holland to largely thank. 

The Welsh midfielder had given the Reds the lead from the spot after just 11 minutes before Martina Fernández headed into her own net to make it 2-0. 

Four minutes before the break, Holland broke down the left before cutting inside a defender and putting one in the top corner past Courtney Brosnan.

The 28-year-old had just two goals this season before today but has picked a brilliant moment to double her tally and push the Reds closer to safety. 

Can she seal a hat-trick before all is said and done?
