U-20
The Mexican team preparing for the World Cup in this category, where they will make their debut on September 28 against Brazil in Chile, held a friendly match against Pachuca played in four 30-minute periods.
In this match, Hugo Camberos, Yael Padilla, and Sebastián Liceaga saw action, fighting for a spot on the final roster for the World Cup, which will be announced soon.
U-18
The U-18 national team included five Rojiblancos in its roster for the tour of the Basque Country, where it has played three of its four matches against local teams.
First, they drew 2-2 against Barakaldo, with Santiago Sandoval getting on the scoreboard. They then faced Santutxu and Athletic Bilbao in two mini-matches, winning both 1-0, with Sandoval, Cristo Navarrete, Yohan Orozco, Carlos Hernández, and Samir Inda all seeing action.
U-17
The national team is also preparing for the World Cup, which will be played in November in Qatar, where Mexico will face South Korea, Ivory Coast, and Switzerland.
On this occasion, the Mexican team traveled to the Czech Republic to play three friendly matches, with Gael García, Jhonnatan Grajales, and Emiliano Rodriguez in attendance.
