How long will Jude Bellingham be out? Real Madrid confirm muscle tear
Real Madrid confirmed that Jude Bellingham suffered left leg muscle tear during the La Liga game against Rayo Vallecano.
Real Madrid released official statement regarding the injury suffered by English midfielder Jude Bellingham during Sunday’s match against Rayo Vallecano.
The fixture was part of matchday 22 of the 2025 /26 La Liga season and Madrid secured 2-1 victory closing the gap on league leaders Barcelona to just one point.
However the win was tempered by concern over Bellingham’s condition.
In their statement, Real Madrid confirmed that medical tests were carried out by the club’s staff and the player has been diagnosed with tear in the semitendinosus muscle in his left leg.
The club added that his recovery process will now be monitored closely.
The report suggested the midfielder’s absence could range between three and five week depending on how the injury develops in the coming days.
Such spell on the sidelines would be significant setback for Madrid as Bellingham has been one of the key players in their league campaign.
The injury comes at important moment in the season, with Real Madrid fighting closely with Barcelona for the top spot in La Liga.
