The Hatters and County will be hoping to achieve Wembley glory next month
With the EFL season nearing its conclusion, there are plenty of showpiece events in the calendar for supporters to look forward to.
As well as seeing which sides will be promoted or relegated from the Championship, League One and League Two between now and the end of the regular campaign on May 2nd, the EFL Trophy final is also just a matter of weeks away.
This season, the two sides fighting it out for glory in North London are Luton Town and Stockport County, with both sets of supporters enjoying a second trip to Wembley within a three-year period.
It has been a difficult campaign for the Bedfordshire side, who have continued to regress after suffering back-to-back relegations from the Premier League and back into the third tier for the first time since winning the title back in 2019, whilst Stockport are looking to bounce back from play-off semi-final heartache and achieve promotion back to the Championship for the first time in over 20 years.
Whilst the remainder of the League One season will be the main focus for both Jack Wilshere and Dave Challinor, a chance to write themselves into the history books at Kenilworth Road or Edgeley Park is a mouth-watering prospect.
Luton, of course, have made their way to Wembley in rather intriguing fashion, having been reinstated into the competition for the semi-final stage despite losing to Swindon Town in the round of 16 stage after the Robins ineligibly named Ollie Clarke in their squad.
Town subsequently saw off Plymouth Argyle and Northampton Town to reach Wembley, whilst County defeated Doncaster Rovers 1-0 at the Eco-Power Stadium on March 3rd to book their place in the final.
With that being said, Football League World have looked at the initial ticket allocations both clubs have received ahead of the match on Sunday, April 12th.

Last season's final, which saw Peterborough United become the first club to win the trophy in successive seasons, was played before a crowd of 71,722 - the vast majority of which turned out to be disappointed Birmingham City supporters.
After defeating the Cobblers 2-1 earlier this month in the semi-final, it was confirmed on Luton's official website that they had received an initial allocation of 25,430 tickets.
Town supporters will be based at the East End of Wembley, which is where they were housed for their famous penalty-shootout success over Coventry City in the Championship play-off final in May 2023.
There is a possibility, though, that there could be a total of 36,799 fans making the short trip down the M1 next month if every single seat within a maximised allocation is to be snapped up, with the highest cost coming through a category one adult ticket at £60.
Luton have previous experience of lifting this trophy too. In April 2009, they defeated Scunthorpe United 3-2 after extra-time, a week before they were relegated to non-league after being docked 30 points.
There are six ticket 'periods' for Luton supporters with varied opening dates depending on which allocation they fall into, and the remaining tickets go on general sale at 10AM on Wednesday, March 18th.

Despite their recent resurgence up the English football pyramid, County have received a far lesser initial allocation than that of their divisional rivals.
In the lead-up to their 2023 League Two play-off final defeat to Carlisle United, it was confirmed that the Greater Manchester side had sold approximately 13,000 tickets, with the attendance on the day hitting the 34,000 mark.
It would be the first time that County will have lifted the EFL Trophy in their history if they were to overcome Luton, having suffered defeats in back-to-back seasons back in 1992 and 1993 against Stoke City and Port Vale.
So far, it has been confirmed by the club that they have received an initial allocation of 10,000 tickets for the showpiece event, although there is still the possibility that an overall allocation would reach 36,799 if every ticket in Wembley's West End was to be sold.
With the stadium technically a neutral venue, all ticket prices are the same for both clubs.
After already going on sale to season-ticket holders and 'MyCounty' members, the remaining tickets will go on general sale on Monday, March 16th at 10AM.
