AI chatbot ChatGPT has shared its prediction on how much Davis Keillor-Dunn is currently worth
Davis Keillor-Dunn is Barnsley's star man in attack, and with the rumours that the Tykes are willing to part ways with the forward this January, AI chatbot ChatGPT has shared how much it thinks the former Mansfield Town man is currently worth.
As per the FLW exclusive, Barnsley are open to cashing in on star forward Keillor-Dunn amid Championship transfer interest this January, with the Tykes' hopes of promotion taking a hit in recent weeks after a dismal run of form.
Under the guidance of Conor Hourihane, many Barnsley fans expected the club to once again be challenging for a top-six finish as a minimum, and having retained the services of Keillor-Dunn in the summer, they certainly had one of the best forward options in the league to spearhead that charge.
Though now at the halfway point in the campaign, Barnsley find themselves just two points above the relegation zone, albeit they have played the least amount of games in the division thus far, with four games in hand on Plymouth Argyle, who narrowly sit above them.
Keillor-Dunn has once again been one of the club's standout performers this season, having hit 11 goals and grabbed one assist in 21 league games so far, and the news that the club are willing to part ways with him this January for the right fee will be unwelcome news to everyone around Oakwell.

With the revelation that Barnsley may be willing to part ways with Keillor-Dunn this January, for the moment, it remains to be seen what sort of fee the Tykes would command.
Though to part ways with their top scorer, it would have to be a relatively substantial fee for League One level, and taking into account that his contract isn't due to expire until the summer of 2027, with Barnsley possessing the option to extend for a further year, he will not come cheap.
AI chatbot, ChaGPT, has shared its view on how much it believes Keillor-Dunn is currently worth, taking everything into account, saying: "Davis Keillor-Dunn is realistically worth around £3m this transfer window, with a sensible range of £2m–£4m. His consistent League One goal record, age, and contract length give Barnsley a strong negotiating position, especially if Championship interest emerges.
Indeed, many Barnsley fans will believe that £3 million for their star man is not nearly enough, but taking into account their current position and his age, a £3 million fee sounds plausible.
Barnsley will no doubt be hoping for more for the Englishman, though, with their position in League One looking somewhat tenuous, they may not have a choice but to accept should a bid in that region come in.

In an ideal world, Barnsley would love to keep Keillor-Dunn at the club, given his record in front of goal for the Tykes.
A large reason behind them not falling even further down the table, both this season and last season, has been because of his exploits in the final third.
In 74 appearances across all competitions for Barnsley since his move from Mansfield in the summer of 2024, Keillor-Dunn has netted 33 times and grabbed six assists to boot.
With the emergence of Reyes Cleary this campaign, the limelight has dimmed on Keillor-Dunn somewhat, though there is no doubting that he remains a crucial player for the club, and they would be substantially weaker without him.
As per Alan Nixon, Barnsley have already rejected a bid this January for Cleary from Championship side Blackburn Rovers, and losing both of their most valued assets mid-season would be a nightmare scenario for the club.
Barnsley may favour parting ways with 28-year-old Keillor-Dunn over 21-year-old Cleary, believing the latter may be able to be sold for more further down the line.
Whatever the case, there is no doubting that any aspirations of promotion to the Championship this season would take a huge hit if Keillor-Dunn was to be sold, and only a fee too good to turn down should be his only route out of Oakwell this winter.
